Ayurvedic teacher Dr.Vasant Lad has observed:
“Emotions are like mangos. We have to learn to ripen them and then juice them. When emotions are juiced, they are deeply nourishing. Even sweet.”
Emotions can be our greatest teacher. They have a way of whispering, or sometimes shouting, when we are aligned or disconnected with our Truest Self. Just like mangos, they need to be consumed and then through the assimilating process of digestion, use what is needed and release what is no longer nutritious.
In this 2 hour preview to Sarah and Kristin’s 4th annual Women’s retreat we will utilize the practice of chanting, asana and meditation to help bring awareness to our emotional intelligence. And- through the process of feeling- create healing and freedom.
